Welcome to our page; we are Delano & Megan Kjos, and together with our 3 young kids, we run Silent K Stock Farms!

 

Silent K Stock Farms was established in 2018 when we moved away from the family farm & dove head first into AI; really honing in on our program goals. We wouldn’t be where we are

today, however, without the strong foundational herd that Delano had built up since he was a teen. He’s been successfully selling bulls since 2003, with countless happy clients along the way.

 

Our main goal is produce a bull that is a well-rounded example of the Angus breed. We select AI sires that carry a balanced set of numbers along with a desirable phenotype. We aim to bring

our clients worry-free birthing with excellent growth, good feed efficiency & maternal traits while still maintaining the carcass quality that gives Angus beef its claim to fame. We don’t creep feed or push our sale bulls on grain; you won’t be complaining about our animals falling apart once they hit your feed program. They are built & bred to last.

In 2024, we saw a gap in the market for locally produced beef in our area. After quick thought, we figured it was a no-brainer to proceed with getting licensed & adjusting our program to add a beef division to our ranch. We were already breeding for what the buyer wants to see on their plates, so why not also directly put it there? And it has been our absolute pleasure to provide our community with quality, family-raised meat products at a competitive price point.
